All fittings are design with LBP (Leak Before Press) technology, which allows the user to test (with low pressure 1.0-6.5Bar) the flow before making any final press’s. This is due to the embedded design of the O-rings.
Both M and V Profile fittings are supplied with a visual check indicator ring, which after a press is completed is designed to fall off (be removed), ensuring that each component in the ARMSTRONG PIPRESS system get the attention to detail that one would expect from a world class system that prides itself on quality, efficiency and robustness.

Depending on the fluid to be transferred the temperature and pressure operating ranges depends on which O-ring is selected. To facilitate safety ARMSTRONG PIPRESS have collaborated to ensure that if a EPDM O-ring is utilised then the visual indicator is Blue whereas for a FKM O-ring a red visual indicator is utilised. These indicators are shown in the image below.
The Embedded Sealing O-rings selected in the manufacturing and design process, are sourced with superior reliability and longevity in mind. Different options are available depending on the fluid to be transferred, and site specific requirements.
Some applications include:
The table below shows the selection of O-rings available, normal operating temperatures and typical applications.
